Review Details The new Asus Eee PC R051PX is a 10-inch netbook with dual-core Intel Atom N570 processor and it offers improved performance at an attractive price.   It has a seashell design, with pearly white exterior and a smooth non-glossy surface. It has a white keyboard and palmrest with a silver-coloured mouse button and a glossy black screen bezel around the matte screen. The Asus Eee PC R051PX is built well with the hinges securing the screen firmly to the base of the netbook. It has an integrated 0.3MP webcam and the accompanying webcam software makes it easier clicking pics.   The 10-inch netbook is loaded with pre-Windows quick-boot OS called ExpressGate. It easily takes you to a web browser within seconds of pressing the power on button. It increases the netbook’s battery life. The netbook has access to Asus WebStorage which offers online data backup free for up to a year -- the cloud drive is added as a partition in the Computer screen, drag and drop files to get started.   Performance of the netbook is a little better than most Intel Atom netbooks thanks to the dual-core Atom processor.  -- but nothing much to get excited. Its battery lasted 3 hours 24 minutes in our synthetic test, better than most netbooks tested in the June issue. We think you can get over 6 hours of browsing the Web over Wi-Fi on a conservative power plan on the Eee PC R051PX. Not bad at all. And the netbook’s price is attractive as well.
