Marked with version number 1600.2487.8107.12070, the update brings better battery life and fixes backlight issues haunting some Lumia 800 owners.Battery life sees improvement, according to many users with already updated devices. Some of them also report a backlight issue being fixed by the firmware update.
According to some reports, currently only Lumia 800 owners in Singapore can benefit from the update, but a global release is imminent, so don't be discouraged and try updating your device via Zune.
