I've followed xkcd.com for its cartoons, but recently came across this brilliantly subversive idea on their blog. What they've done is incorporate software that blocks your comment if it repeats what somebody else has said. In their words, be original or you can't belong because you're just adding noise.
Something all marketers should live by.
