Idea cellular launched 2 new 3G Android based Smartphone in India named Idea Blade & Idea ID 280. Both phones runs on Android v2.2(Froyo). Idea ID 280 comes with a capacitive touch screen of 2.8" running on a 528MHz processor while you may find a screen size of 3.5" & a processor of 600MHz in Idea Blade. On the other hand some common features in both of them includes a 3.2MP camera, 3G HSDPA 7.2mbps, GPS, FM Radio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, MP3 player and a internal memory of 152MB. Both Idea Blade & Idea ID 280 supports microSD card of up to 32GB and comes with Social Media apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Orkut, Opera Mini browser, pre-loaded Google & Youtube and Idea TV.
The company is also giving free data service worth 3500 INR with a pack of 259 RS/- which includes free Idea TV for 3 months, 3G double dhamaka benefits for 6 months, 1GB data download per month for 3 months and a talktime of 25 RS/-. These services are available for both prepaid & postpaid customers.
