Reverse tethering- Using Windows as WiFi hotspot

The windows 7 laptop with WiFi can be used as WiFi hotspot connect your smartphone to internet. This will be very useful if you have purchased new mobile and not yet subscribed to data plan. This method is working for all the smartphones which is WiFi enables such as Galaxy Ace, Galaxy Fit, Galaxy pop, LG optimus, Dell XCD 35 etc.

Steps to make Windows laptop or PC as WiFi hotspot (Reverse tethering):


  • Download the  software from notify users.
  • Install the software
  • Double click on shortcut of notify users application.
  • Open the settings.
  • Fill up the space with the information such as 
  • WiFi Name: The name used to identify the WiFi network from your phone or any WiFi enabled device
  • Password:The password of WiFi network you want to set for authorization.
  • Internet: The internet you are using for Connecting
  • WiFi hotspot is ready.
